Hi! I’m Elizabeth, the founder and lead designer of Sage Floral Co. As an old soul with a deep appreciation for the timeless beauty of nature, my path into floral design has been as unique as it is fulfilling.

From a young age, I have been captivated by the art of creating and the beauty of the natural world. As a child I would spend hours outdoors collecting sticks and flowers to create beautiful fairy houses or detailed little ecosystems inside old jars. When I was older, I pursued a background in wildlife conservation ecology from Texas A&M, deepening my fascination with nature. As I began my career, felt I was missing the element of creativity that fueled my love for nature. As I sought out a way to merge this curiosity with my love for creating, I discovered the art of floral design.  With flowers, I could merge artistic expression, my desire to serve others, and my love of nature into one harmonious passion. I knew I had found my calling, and Sage Floral Co was born.

Sage Floral Co designs draw from the world around us, inspired by the old world beauty of my travels, the delicate interplay of colors and textures in nature, and a touch of whimsy. For me, flowers are so much more than just a pop of color on a table;  they are meaningful expressions of love and connection. They breath life and passion into events. It is my greatest joy to connect with individuals and hear their stories, weaving elements from their life stories into my designs as I bring their event to life. My passion for creating for weddings is deeply personal, as aside from my faith, family is the greatest cornerstone of my life. I cherish the way weddings not only bring families together, but create new ones as well.  

Outside of flowering, I cherish spending time with my husband Dustin and giving all the snuggles to my furry little loves Sullie and Amara. I can often be found hanging with my grandmothers, who never fail to beat me in cards, or covered in dirt from working on my growing garden – you might even get a few fresh blooms or greens from it into your design! I love hosting gatherings, heading to the dog park with Amara, traveling and hiking the great outdoors, and enjoying weekly family dinners with my siblings and parents who live nearby. It is likely that any event you see me at, at least one or a few of them will be lending a helping hand!
